FIRST TIME SIGN IN

Dial into Voice Mail System using the number for your exchange Enter Default PIN:. 000000
Listen to voice prompt to customize your voicemail options:
Change your PIN
Record your GREETING
Record your RECORDED NAME
FROM THE MAIN MENU:
Listen to your voice messages – Press 1
Change your mailbox settings – Press 4
Manage any erased messages – Press 5
Listen to helpful hints – Press 0
To end the call – Press *

TO CALL MAILBOX AWAY HOME PHONE:

Call your own telephone number
Press * when you start to hear your greeting
You will need to enter your PIN followed the by # when requested

TIMESAVING FEATURES:

Skip PIN Feature
Set up your mailbox so that you can enter it without using a PIN when calling from your own telephone
Press 4 from the Main Menu
Press # key until you hear the title “PIN”
Press 0 to choose this option
Hands Free & Timesavers Menu

AUTOPLAY allows you to go directly to your messages as soon as you enter your mailbox.
To turn autoplay on:
Press 4 from Main Menu
Press the # key until you hear the title “Hands Free & Timesavers”
Press 0 to choose this option
Press 2 to use the Autoplay feature
Press # to keep this setting

AUTOCONTINUE allows each message to follow on from the next message without your having to press any keys. To turn autocontinue on:
Press 4 from the Main Menu
Press # until you hear the title “Hands Free & Timesavers”
Press 0 to choose this option
Press 3 to use the Autocontinue feature
Press # to keep this setting

HELPFUL HINTS

Listening to your messages:
While the message plays, you can choose one of the following options:
Press 2 to skip to the end of the message
Press 9 to skip forward 5 seconds
Press 8 to pause, then 8 again to resume
Press 7 to skip backward 5 seconds
When the message finishes, you can choose one of the following options:
Press 1 to play the message again from the beginning
Press 2 to save a new message and go to the next message
Press 3 to erase the message
Press 5 to forward to another MetaSphere Unified Messaging System user
Press 11 to return to the previous message
Press # to leave the message as-is and go to the next message
Press * to go to the Main Menu

FORWARD MESSAGE TO SOMEONE ELSE

You can forward a message that someone else has left for you to a third party, as long as the person did not mark the message private.
Press 5 after the message plays
When prompted, enter the telephone number (10 digits –
the area code and the local number) of the person
you wish to receive the message, then Press #. You will hear the person’s recorded name.
If you make a mistake entering the telephone number, press *to cancel and start again
When prompted, you have the option to record an introductory message that is played to your recipient before the forwarded message. When finished, you may hang up to automatically forward your message or Press # to hear more delivery options.
When you have finished, Press # to send your message. You can also Press # to send you message without changing any options.
