Call Waiting
Receive incoming calls while you
are on the phone and pick up the call without losing the
first call.
-
You will hear a special tone to notify
you have an incoming call.
- If you want to answer it, press &
release the flash button or switch hook once.
- This puts the first call on hold and
you can talk to second caller.
- To return to the first call, press
& release the flash button or switch hook again.
If you don't
answer the incoming call, the caller will hear your line
ringing as if you were not home.
CANCEL CALL WAITING
To disable Call Wating before making a call:
-
Press *70, then listen for three beeps
and a steady dial tone.
- Press the number you want to call.
* Cancel
call waiting does not work if you have call
waiting ID.

When you are away from home, forward
calls to your cell phone or another phone where you may
be reached.
- Press *72, then listen for three beeps
and a steady dial tone.
- Press the phone number to where you
want your calls forwarded and advise the party that calls
will be forwarded to their number.
- If the party does not answer, or if
the line is busy repeat the steps immediately. Then listen
for three beeps and a steady dial tone and hang up.
- A short ring on your phone each time
a call is forwarded reminds you
that Call Forwarding is activated.
Cancel Call Forwarding
To stop the Call Forwarding
feature.

Press *73 then listen for three beeps
and hang up.

You did not reach the phone in time? Find out who called
by *69.

Press *69, listen for the announcement
that gives you the phone number of the party who last
called.
- If you want to return the call press
1, listen for the ringing, wait for answer.
- If you do not want to return
the call, hang up.
- If the line is busy, hang up, you will be alerted with a special ring when the line is available.
- You may use *69 to return a call if,
you have heard the Call Waiting tone while talking on
the phone.
Cancel Call Return
To stop the Call Return feature.
- Press *89 and listen for tone or announcement.
- There is not a time limit for returning
a missed call.
- You will only be able to return the
last incoming call received.

Selective
Call Acceptance
Receive only calls you want to accept
from a preset calling list.
Calls from other numbers not on the
list will hear a message you are not accepting calls at
this time.
- Press *64, listen carefully to voice
prompts how to activate this feature or make changes to
your Call Acceptance calling list.
- Press 3 to
turn ON / OFF Selective Call Acceptance feature.
- Press 1 to
review the numbers on your Selective Call Acceptance list.
- Press 0 to
repeat instructions.
- To add a phone number to your Call
Acceptance list press #.
- To

(Priority Ringing)
This feature allows you to give a special
ring tone to incoming calls on your Distinctive Alert phone
numbers list. Other incoming calls will ring as normal.
- Press *61, listen carefully to voice
prompt instructions to set up.
- Press 3 to
turn ON/OFF the Priority Ringing list.
- Press 1 to
review the number on your Priority Ringing list.
- Press 0 to
repeat the instructions.
- To add a phone number to your Priority
Ringing list press #.
- To remove a phone number from your
Priority Ringing list press *.
- To remove ALL phone numbers from your
Priority Ringing list press 08.

Voice Mail
This reliable feature will take messages
when you are not able to answer the phone. Callers will
hear your voice greeting when they call. You may access messages in Voice Mail
from your cell phone or another phone anytime and anywhere.
From your home phone listen to your
messages,
- Call your mailbox 498-2310.
- Listen to your greeting.
- Enter your PIN code followed by # key.
- Press 1 to
listen to message.
- When finished, hang up or press 99.
Away from home listen to your messages,
- Dial your home phone number from any
phone.
- Press # key during your greeting.
- Enter your PIN code followed by # key.

Calling Made Easy -----------------------------------------------------------
Repeat Dialing
This convenient feature lets the phone automatically redial
a busy number for up to 30 minutes and alerts you when it’s
free.
- When
you get a busy signal, hang up receiver.
-
Press *66, listen for three beeps or voice announcement
the line is busy.
-
Hang up again.
-
Repeat Dialing will keep trying the number for up to 30
minutes.
-
When the line is free, you will hear a special short-short-long
ring.
-
Pick up the phone receiver to connect your call.
-
You may still make and receive other calls while feature
is re-dialing a number.
-
You can use Repeat Dialing for more than one busy line
at a time. However, when one of the busy numbers called
is free, you will not be able to know which one it is.

Three-way Calling
You may add a third party to a phone conversation.
It brings friends and families together on one call.
-
Dial the first party you wish to call.
- When
that person is on the phone line, quickly press and release
the flash button or switch hook.
- Listen
for three beeps then a steady dial tone. This puts the
first party on hold.
- Dial
the third party’s phone number. When the third party
answers, you may talk to them privately before connecting
back the first party, Quickly press the flash button or
switch hook and all three lines will be connected.
- If
the third party doesn’t answer or you hear a busy
signal, press the flash button or switch hook twice to
reconnect the first call.
- To
disconnect the third party press the flash button or switch
hook at any time.
- To
disconnect both parties hang up the receiver.

Speed Calling 8 Code
Save time calling by programming up to 8 frequently called
numbers with a one-digit code.
- Select
8 phone numbers you wish to program.

Pick up the receiver, listen for dial tone.

Press *74

Press one-digit (2 through 9) as the code to phone number
you wish to store.
-
Dial the phone number (include 1 + area code if it’s
long distance).
-
Listen for confirmation tone of 3 beeps.

Hang up the receiver.

Write down the code digit and phone number it is assigned.

Repeat these steps for the remaining 7 numbers. Assign
each a different code digit for the phone number entered.

To change a stored number, follow the same steps. A new
number entered for a code will automatically replace the
previously stored number.
How

Caller ID Blocking Per Call
Block your phone number from appearing on Caller ID boxes
on an each call basis. Your name will continue to appear
on ID boxes.

To use this blocking feature Press *67, listen for confirmation
tone, and then dial the phone number you want to call.

When you complete your call, hang up receiver, and feature
is canceled.

Every time you call out, your name will appear as (Private
or Anonymous) on a Caller ID box.
- To
turn off the feature Caller ID Block on a per call basis
press *82.
- Your
number will appear when dialing toll free 800 series numbers.

Make a list of phone numbers from which you do not want
to receive calls. Persons calling from numbers on the predetermined
list will hear an announcement that you are not receiving
calls.

Press *60, to activate this feature and listen carefully
to prompts.

Press 3 to turn ON/OFF the Selective Call Rejection list.

The unwanted caller will hear a message you are not accepting
calls.

Press 1 to review the numbers on your Selective Call Rejection
list.

Press 0 to repeat the instructions.
- Add
a phone number to your Call Rejection list press #.

To remove a phone number from your list press *.
Should
you receive an annoying call, even if you do not know their
number Selective Call Rejection feature will prevent them
from calling again by adding them to your list.
- Hang
up, then lift the receiver, and listen for dial tone.

Caller ID
Know the name and number of the person calling before you
pick up the phone.
Unless the caller has it blocked, your display screen will
show the name and number from the caller.

Waiting ID
Requires Caller ID feature on phone
line. When you hear the Call Waiting
tone, check the caller ID display to see who is calling
and if you want to answer the call.
- Press & release the flash button
or switch hook once.
- This puts the first call on hold and
you can talk to the second caller.
- To return to the first call, press
& release the flash button or switch hook again.
- To end a call, just hang up.
* Cancel call waiting does not work if
you have call waiting ID.

You may activate the Call Trace feature after receiving
a threatening, harassing, or obscene call.
- Hang
up, after receiving the harassing call.

Pick up receiver again and listen for a dial tone.

Press *57, the listen for tone or announcement.
It
is very important that you activate Call Trace immediately
following the offending call. Report the call to your phone
company. Further investigation will be by the police.

Published Phone Number
To insure privacy Non-Published number are not available
from directory assistance. Unlisted numbers are available
through calling directory assistance.
Toll Blocking with Pin Number
Do you want to control your long distance calling cost from
your home? You may by using Toll Blocking w/ PIN number.
Before long distance calls are dialed out, you must enter
a pre-selected 4-digit code. Simply inform your phone company
what you select for the 4-digit PIN code. You will want
keep the code confidential or tell only others you allow
to make long distance calls.
- To
place a long distance call pick up receiver, listen for
dial tone.

Dial tone returns, then dial your 4-digit PIN number #

- Dial
tone returns, then dial the number you wish to call 1+area
